What is Groundswell Editions? How is it different from just having prints made?
Groundswell Editions is a print and fulfillment solution for busy artists. You supply your original artwork for scanning or a high resolution digital file and we take it from there. We print, advertise, ship and track a Limited Edition of your work and once the Edition is sold, you get paid. Boom, done!
Can I get prints made to sell myself?

What will it cost me to sell with Groundswell Editions?
The only cost to begin is a scanning fee for original artwork. If you already have a high resolution file, there is no cost at all.
What do you print on?
We typically print on high-quality LexJet Sunset paper.
How does proofing work?
If you are local, you can proof your print in person. Otherwise, we will mail you a proof.
Can I sign my prints?
Yes, and we highly recommend you do, as signed prints are worth more. If you are local, we’ll set up a time for you to sign your prints at our gallery. For non local artists, we mail prints for signing, with a postage paid return shipping label.
How is a print price determined and how much will I make?
Groundswell works with each artist to determine appropriate print prices. Production cost for prints ranges from $14-$25 per print, depending on size and substrate. The remaining profit (after subtraction of production cost) is split between Groundswell and the artist. For example: A $75 print with a $15 production cost = $60 per print x 20 prints sold = $1200 split evenly between Groundswell and the artist.
Do you curate the prints sold through Groundswell Editions?
We do. We accept images for consideration from artists of all kinds, but should your artwork not be selected for our Editions program, you still have the option to have prints made to sell yourself.
How are the prints mailed?
We ship all prints via USPS, in a sturdy mailing tube, with a certificate of authenticity from Groundswell Art.
Will I get a link I can share with my followers who want to buy a print?
Yes, we provide each artist with a link to the page on groundswellart.com which features their print.
How and when will I get paid?
Artists begin being paid monthly when 60% of their edition has sold.
